Tom Fazio, voted “Golf Course Architect of the Year” five years in a row, brings his design expertise to a rolling parcel of land at the heart of Barefoot Resort. Fazio has “perfected a certain formula for creating overwhelming, lovely holes that are meticulously manicured and pleasant to play.” Fazio’s course has attracted national acclaim. Off the tees, players will be greeted with stunning visuals and 18 distinct holes that will be remembered after every round. Golf Digest rated it 81st in “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses - 2005-2006” and ranked it sixth in “Top 50 courses in Myrtle Beach- 2006”. New in 2006, a 30-acre lighted practice facility complete with teaching school, New York-style pizzeria and deli sports bar.

Great course, and our prior 5.5-hour round was trimmed to a tidy 4 hours 25 mins., and that's us playing as a fivesome!

We played the Fazio course on 2/14, the day after all the snow melted, and couldn't believe it was not absolutely soaked. There were some wets spots and cart paths only on a couple holes but overall very playable. Great drainage here. This is definitely one of the best courses in the Myrtle Beach area and everything about Barefoot is top-notch!

Barefoot Fazio (and our replay round on the Love course) is an outstanding course in outstanding condition. The course is very difficult, but we moved up to the senior tees to make it more playable for us. We had no trouble finishing 36 holes, and had a great day.

Conditions were nice. Maintenance taking place all over the course. Bunkers are in play from everywhere. Don't hit it there.

Super course and experience. Your staff at the carts do a great job of juggling three courses.

On Barefoot – Dye:

We played the back tees which probably was a mistake for me. My buddy scored an 82 from back there, so I played it with him. Your starter needs to keep his opinion of who should play back there to himself (Ace). If I want to spend my money, not slow anyone down, and torture myself, that should not be discouraged by anyone on your staff.

On Barefoot – Love:

Good enough to bring me back in future years.

On Barefoot – Norman:

Nice course to end the trip on. Go home with decent scores.

On MB National – King’s North:

My favorite course in Myrtle Beach. Beautifully maintained while providing various shots and decisions.

On Long Bay Club:

Love the course. Played it six times now and will always make it part of my golf trips.

Excellent layout; great pace of play -- we were done in 3:35 minutes; they had just sanded the greens and didn't let us know -- should be an automatic discount! We did a re-play on the Love course and really enjoyed it. Both of these courses are in the top ten in the Myrtle Beach area (that I've played so far}.
