Great course and great GPS in carts. Pro shop and starters were great course was in great shape and was a pleasure to play easily the best course conditions we played the whole time we were down their and would of been considered great shape for any time course brought out your a game as had to hit different shots every holes and made the game very fun and enjoyable to play

I liked the layout and design of the course but the conditions of the greens were horrendous. Very disappointing for any golf course in Myrtle Beach.

Didn't like this course - too wide open - can see 6 or 7 holes from a single teebox - not a premium course but I don't consider $61 to be a bargain price for a course of this nature.

This was the last course that I played during my recent trip to Myrtle Beach, and for the $40 green fee it was the best value course. The course was in very good shape with medium-fast, very undulating greens and tight, narrow fairways. Even though the course looks wide open in many places, if you don't hit the short grass it's 50-50 that you will be able to hit the green. Black Bear is going to be on my list for next year.

Unfortunately, we played this course right after the heavy rains of Ida so we did not get to appreciate the course as much as we could have under better conditions.
