Our outing was rained out after 9 holes and we were given a rain-check to play the whole 18 over for a few days later. This was very much appreciated and helped us complete our golf outing to its fullist. So many courses in Myrtle Beach yet to play, but will keep Burning Ridge in our minds in future outings.

Very good layout and course was in great shape. We got there early (from out of town) and they worked us in an hour earlier than our tee time. Mary in the grill was very pleasant and friendly! We had a great time!!!

There was a frost delay. Instead of going in order by tee times, they let all the regulars out first. We had a 9:30 tee time and were the last group out. When we questioned, we were ignored.

The course was in very good condition; however, we were there during the week of very wet conditions. As you can surmise, this makes for many difficult shots and not easy playing conditions.

This course has hidden fees. Even though I wasn't staying through a golf package, I booked my tee time directly through the course, and they charged a $2 or $3 fee for something they called Myrtle Beach holiday, which had nothing to do with my tee time reservation. The people in the pro shop couldn't even explain it to me; they said it must be a tax. I had a representative call me back about this because I think only the Classic Group is doing this and they are not UPFRONT about it.
Many complaints, had to stay on the cart path, which makes the GPS in the cart totally useless. They could have handled this differently by keeping golfers off certain damper/wet holes or areas, but they make it easy on themselves and difficult on the golfers who pay their salaries, maintenance and HIDDEN FEES.
The greens are okay, fairways are decent shape but I wouldn't recommend it, why deal with people that are not upfront with you?
