I like not seeing buildings along the golf course. The greens were not in the best shape I've ever seen them.

Very well conditioned. Nice, scenic layout; not real difficult but must hit the fairways in order to score well. Played with a large group and a few of us wanted to play more and the counter person said it was wide open, but the starter said it would be an hour. When we made a tee time somewhere else he wanted to change his tune (his bad). Other than that, it was a nice time.

Take it from a local. This is one of the best conditioned courses you can play in Myrtle Beach for the money. They have an extremely friendly staff from golf shop to ranger. An all around great facility!

Played Nov. 14, 2008: "Due to all the rain in area,the fairways were very wet with standing water. We only played 9 holes and got a rain check. We are looking forward to playing in the spring."
