Enjoy the pure natural contours the land gives directing the golfer through the course fluently without manmade distractions. Holes reminiscent of St. Andrews, Lahinch and Cruden Bay dot this par 71 and the windswept hills and deep-faced bunkers challenge golfers on every hole.

When we pulled up to the bag drop, we all thought "oh, great, cattle car golf!" I mean we had never run into so many people getting ready to play and we sure this was destined to be a 5- or 6-hour, hurry-up-and-wait round. What a surprise! I have never seen golf move so effieciently. Despite the number of players on the course, we move well without feeling the least bit rushed by anyone. In fact, we finished in 3 hours and 50 minutes - again, without feeling like we were rushing. The staff was wonderfully friendly and the course beautiful in every respect. This was everyone's favorite.

This was an incredible golf experience. When you get to the bag drop the idea of cattle car golf pops into your head. But in practice that is not how it works out. They move a lot of golfers here, but we did not feel at all rushed - even though we did finish in 3 hours and 50 minutes. The staff members were super friendly - and most had a sense of humor. The course is astoundingly beautiful and was in wonderful condition. We can't wait to come back and play this course. Oh yeah, your fee includes ticket for breakfast, lunch and two drinks - which was a pleasant surprise to us.

This was a different design experience for me. I enjoyed the links flair to it. Sometimes you have to let the ego go and play sideways out of the pot bunkers as I learned the hard way. My eagle on a tough par 5 helped soothe the wounds. Look forward to playing it again.

Very well organized. We started right on time. The waitresses during breakfast and lunch were very attentive. Overall staff very friendly and made the foursome feel really comfortable.

Too many people ... 5-plus hours to finish the round ... not acceptable at any time ... stop trying to make more money and allow for faster play ... will not be playing Legends again with that type of cattle golf ...

Exceedingly slow play negatively affected the quality of the round. We played Parkland. Great value which included lunch and drink vouchers and $15 off in pro shop. Would consider playing again, if only for the perks. Good bar to watch college hoops.

#13 par 5 if memory serves had an unfair pin placement in our group's opinion. Extreme back right is pretty tough to get close to after such a long hole. But vouchers for lunch, b-fast & drinks was nice touch and waitstaff were great!

Club pro refused a rain check for our group. We knew we were back the next day, he said their policy to give out only on day of rainout. All services were excellent exept for him.

Always love the Heathland, favorite of the three at Legends. A great layout and you can definitely score here if you hit good shots. Greens were a little rough and bumpy all week, but that was the only disappointment. Through the green was in excellent condition. Starters were fantastic with our group all week long and very attentitive. Best practice area I've found at the beach, and pro shop and grill are fantastic.

Fun shotmaker's course. Our group found the greens a little rough and tough to read. Excellent range facility but it's not at all convenient to the Heathland staging area. Excellent club sandwich at 19th hole.

Awesome experience. Got lost getting there but the staff was very friendly and still got me out. Fairways are open and very forgiving off the tee. Greens in excellent shape. Great course that the average golfer could enjoy. Overall, I would definitely play here again and looking forward to playing Moorland and Parkland in the future.

Commented on September 12, 2008: "Really looked forward to playing here a few years ago, had a tee time, when I got there I was greeted with "the course is closed for renovation, we've put you on the Parkland course." Wasn't too pleased with that, so I left. The next visit I put the last visit aside, and this time got to play it. Course layout is nice, no houses (which is rare in the area). The course was very burnt up due to the hot weather. Other than that, it was pretty good."
