The Palmetto course has been a Myrtle Beach favorite for more than 20 years. This classic design reflect the typical Lowcountry flavor and beckons to the more casual relaxed manner so symbolic of the South Carolina coast. The golf course, with its superbly-maintained Bent greens, will challenge any skill level. This is a course is consistantly well kept and the views of the Intracoastal waterway make the experience even more dramatic.

Nice track. Would play it again. Paid $55, but not sure I'd pay more than that. Staff was overall friendly and accommodating. I chose this course for location more than anything else. I would rank it a 3 on a scale of 1-5.

We've been coming to Myrtle Beach for many years and have always passed Myrltewood going out to play other courses, but this year we wanted to play close to Ocean Reef, our usual hotel, on the first day in. We were pleasantly surprised. We actually went back a few days later to play the PineHills course and again not dissapointed. Good bang for your buck.

We were very pleased with all of the courses we played. All five were in very good condition and the staffs very professional, friendly and helpful. Each course was special and unique in its own way. We would be hard pressed to say we liked one over the others.

Another great course, enjoyable! Not a fan of the grill in the middle of the course, makes for getting a dog either real early in your round or very late. And the prices were very expensive for what you got!

We found Palmetto to be a very good experience. The weather conditions caused the fairways to be wet, this was not the fault of the course.

We played there on March 11 after a hard rain the night before. The course does not drain well, and it was cart-paths only! The pro shop was extremely over-priced, and it was the only course that I refused to purchase a hat ($23). Fairways were extremely thin, and the greens were average, at best. It was not the same course I played 6 years earlier.

A nice layout but I'm not sure it rates a slope of 130. Played a bit long and SLOW because it was cart path only and NO RANGER to be found. Starter was a little gruff as well.
