Played it on opening day this past Saturday. Once this place greens up, it should look spectacular. Played from the middle tees, and it's a really good test with a handful of long par 4's. No. 3 is a real challenge - gotta tank it off the tee. Greens were rolling OK. Fairways are a bit thin and firm now, and the course should play a lot differently once it greens up. Looking forward to going back at that time.

Played the first week they opened, nice changes to course. The clubhouse has been doubled in size, looks great, the MB Golf Hall of Fame is a nice addition to the history of the course.

Terrible, they did renovations for two years (please tell me where they did them). Yes, nice club house, but we don't play golf in there. Greens were like putting on the asphalt, bouncing, pot holes. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone. Much better courses around.

The greens had just been aeriated. Other than that the course and experience was great. Changes made at the Granddaddy are wonderful. A great experience.

Kevin, I own property in MB and have played Pine Lakes 6 or 7 times since they reopened. Everytime, I breese through the first 9 then have to wait 20 to 30mins to tee off on 10 and wait each and every shot thereafter...are they over booking? its not fun and as much as I like P.Lakes I want be back. I've discussed this with Pro Shop and they dont' seem to care handicap, 09/08/2009

It was not easy for me as a foreigner to find the Granddaddy Dr. as there is no map available and the street pilot GPS was also lost. Nice girls at the front desk helped me out.

We were started at 7:50 a.m. on the 10th. Course was great. Made the turn at Number One to continue and we were told we had to wait 45 minutes before we could continue. This was unacceptable. They told us this was common at this course. I and my group were very disappointed and left without finishing. The management of Pine Lakes is not customer friendly.

No driving range. There are separate entrances for members and guests, which seems rather silly. They took out a huge number of trees when they renovated it.

Very crowded conditions at tee off. This was based on design of course and supervisor suggesting that groups go off on front 9 first. Suggest having groups go off par 5 (#10) first to alleviate congestion and expedite play.

The greens are awesome! I didn't like the fairways-it was difficult to cut irons into the tightly knit sod.(I like to take a divot.)

They should not have eliminated the clam chowder soup on the course. The soup in the clubhouse was just not the same; and not very good.

Weather (cold and wind) a big factor, but what a great course. I hadn't played there in 20 years, so we really appreciated the supplied layout book. Missed ol' Big Dog, but complimentary clam chowder was a treat.
