One of my favoriye courses in Myrtle Beach. Just a great collection of "pure" golf holes. Course was in excellent condition. Greens had just been aerified but still OK.

During our trip we played Caledonia, The Dunes and Tidewater ... if you know anything about golf in this area you know those are 3 of the highest-rated. However, Tradition Club was in better shape than those 3. Beautiful green fairways, smooth greens and a great pace of play. This course dropped off a few years ago but has obviously made a serious comeback. I don't know if you can find a nicer course for 50 bucks anywhere.

I enjoyed the course but it wasn't one of the best I've seen. I wish somebody would have warned us about the no-see-ums and offered to sell bug spray beforehand. Overall the course was nice but the greens were frustratingly slow.

I felt like I was shot out of a cannon being one of the first groups out but we had no choice as we were catching a plane for 1:15 PM. Since we did not finish our 18 holes it was much appreciated to have received a raincheck for 9 next time we come back. Tradition is a nice course and I would like to come back and finish.

This turned out to be total drudgery. The front nine took three hours which was happily followed by only two and one half hours on the back. I asked for a refund or at least something to make up for the misery but to no avail. I didn't see how a thirty percent discount on merchandise was going to make up for it. Better off spending less at Golf Galaxy.

That you have split tee times, this is only a money make for you and not customer friendly!!! We had to wait 20 minutes to play the back nine, because we played the front nine to fast? Really!!! Due to a frost delay, I had to play as part of a fivesome, the 17 hole (never got to 18 as we ran out of sunlight) round took 5 1/2 hours - way too slow. "Rangers" should try to move play along. Nice layout, I had played it years ago and it's held up well.

Absolutely love the golf course. One of the more nicely manicured we have played in Myrtle Beach. Will come back again and again. Any staff we interacted with were very freindly and pleasant to talk to.

We had a great day even though the weather was rainy and chilly. The whole facility has an elegant look to it. With the exception of a strange exchange with a marshall as we played the 9th hole, we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. John in the club house was fun to visit with and was really helpful in helping us choose places to eat during our stay. We all want to come back to play the course when the weather is a bit better (hopefully next year).

Stopped after 9 holes due to thinmderstorm, but was able to reschedule back 9 three days later...pro shop was very accomodating.

Fertilized greens in the middle of our round, which dramatically changed the speed of the greens. Kind of a bummer.

The pro shop people, although nice enough to us, were being pretty surly with others. The course rangers were unpleasant and inappropriate.
The course is boring on many holes and demands forced carries on others that makes reaching or holding the green very difficult for seniors. I will not be playing this course again.

Had to stop play after 9 holes on 11/26. Received a rain check for 2nd nine which we played on 11/28. Staff very accommodating. Course in good condition for time of year. Thought greens were a bit slow.

As a twosome we were sent out behind a tournament of 100 ladies at 2PM off the tenth tee we finished 5 hours later in the dark. Everyone was gone from the clubhouse.
